Ganeshotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion on Sunday Aug 23rd 2009 at Vedic heritage Inc. Even though there was little time for pre paration after Akhand Ramayan, there was no lack of enthusiasm among the de votees. Devotees like Anita Singh, Bina Sabapathy, Mr. and Mrs Yogi Parikh, Mr. and Mrs. Dutta, Mr. and Mrs. Verma, Brahma, Anil Sharma, Anju, Sanju volunteered in food preparation.
Ganesh Visarjan was done on Tuesday 25th August 2009 with participation of lot of devotees in the procession. There was an aroma of devotion and togetherness in the air with chanting of "Ganapathi Bappa Moreya" accompanied with dancing of children and elders. The Ganesh Idol was passed on to all devotees who carried on their head with devotion and chanting. Finally Ramesh Panditji immersed the idol in a small pond that was created and decorated in Shiv Mandir. It was the first time that it was celebrated at Hanuman Mandir and all devotees were discussing to make it more grander in the years to come
