GuruMaa's Vision Coming to life.

MokshPriya writes from Delhi:

Gurumaa's vision of building a unique temple in Lohgarh, with Navagrahas, gardens, fountains, flowers and most importantly a place for Sadhaks to do sadhana of Lord Shri Hanuman, took its first step towards completion on March 13th and l4th, 2010.

I doubt, that anywhere in the world, you can see such enormous statues of Lord Shani, Lord Brihaspati, Lord Mangal, and Lord Rahu. These, larger than life, Vigrahas were installed with ancient rituals and mantra-chanting by Acharya Ramesh Panditji from Vedic Heritage, New York. The beauty, serenity, and historic significance of Vedic Heritage Ashram, India is a breath-taking experience. One can only imagine what this Ashram will become in years to come. Elaborate pujas were performed under the guidance of Acharya Ramesh. Each statue was worshipped according to the ancient Vedic rituals. The sheer energy invoked by the dedicated priests, offering mantras, flowers, milk, and numerous articles of worship was an awe-inspiring experience. Sunderkand Havan performed with devotion by so many devotees of Lord Hanumanji and Gurumaa was a memorable sight.

While there, I had the feeling that some day in the future, this place would become a Shakti Peeth for worshippers from all over the world. We are greatly privileged to be able to witness the installation of the 4 statues. Gurumaa's vision is slowly taking shape under Her watchful eye. Muni Shanker Sharma's efforts in bringing the Murtis to life is there for all of us to see and appreciate.

I urge, all of you to come and have "Darshan" of this unique Mandir.

GunjanPriya writes from California:

We all came together from far and near to be with our beloved GuruMaa for this historic beginning. The inaugural celebration truly took on a life of it's own. It opened into an opportunity for so many to be connected to one another in a way that will not be forgotten. Spiritual leaders, governmental officials, dignitaries, musicians, dancers, singers, guests, volunteers, builders, laborers and villagers all came in turn for the festivities. During the two days wonderful food and classical entertainment energized our spirits. Puja and Aarti provided grounding for all attending. The Sunderkand Hawan, so strong and uplifting, provided a sense of purpose and transformation. It truly felt like the creation of a physical spot, on this Earth for healing the spirit within. Walking in the garden and observing the four Deities was an awesome experience. GuruMaa brought together so many core participants who have shown their devotion to this endeavor. So many have given time, funds, labor and while embracing every detail. The devotion of the board of trustees and all who have believed in this project speaks to what can be accomplished when human beings cooperate with one another. It is a clear lesson in that each of us is capable of manifesting what is good beyond normal possibilities in this life no matter the size we dream. GuruMaa teaches by Her action and in Her own style. She is forthright in Her convictions and Her devotion to Her Baba, Sri Hanuman Ji. Her full trust, purpose, and love have never wavered. A special thank you to you, GuruMaa for the many lessons, and for your brave undertaking in Baba's name.

NayanMitra writes from New York:

I have visited the Lohgarh Ashram every few months for the last decade or so. It is one of the most peaceful and positive places on this earth. Every visit I see some progress towards achieving GuruMaa’s vision. This time as I walked up to Lohgarh, I just could not believe how beautiful the Ashram looked. It was a mind-blowing sight. The 4 temples were just amazing.

GuruMaa, despite Her ill-health, has amazing stamina to plan such an elaborate program. The stone-temples, the Murtis, the foundation, the garden, the fountain, the huge Pandal, lighting etc. were all getting their finishing touches with over 200 people working non-stop on it at a feverish pace. Somehow, everything came together on the morning of the 13th and the 2 days just flew by. The two days were packed with religious ceremonies (Puja, Hawan, Staphna etc.), opening ceremony by the dignatories, Indian classical music and dance program, opening ceremony for the first 2 books written by GuruMaa, delicious food and most of all great team work by the disciples of GuruMaa and/or trustees and directors of Vedic Heritage. PawanKumar was multi-tasking very effectively in Lonavala, while Dr Jhunjhunwala was directing from Mumbai. Guests had arrived from all around India and USA. GuruMaa’s shishyas felt like one big family.
